  4. New Business

    • Annual Report - PB blurb for Annual Report

      General Discussion...
Jonathan would like to submit something for the annual report including all the names of the board.

    • Budget - Budget discussion

      General Discussion...

Past budget has been $1300. We decided to keep the same as the past. We have rarely spent anything out of said budget. Broken down into Legal, Supplies, and another non-restricted category.

This year we spent $600 to put an ad in the paper due to lack of proper notification to bordering towns.

Our clerk is not part of our budget. Jonathan wonders if we should request a line item of $1500 in the budget for a clerk.

Jack feels that we should put in for a total budget of $1500.

MOTION, moved by Jonathan Lagreze, seconded by Jack Cavolick: To submit a budget proposal to the Town Coordinator for $2500 total. The breakdown includes $1500 for clerical salary, $600 for legal fees, $200 for advertising, $200 for training.

Pass: Aye: Betsy Corner, Jack Cavolick, Jonathan Lagreze, Robert Slowinski, Loren Feinstein. Not Present: Sara Wik.

Robert Slowinski will submit budget proposal.

"I respectfully request that the Board tables discussion and action on the Boards communications and coordination with the town office and request the presence of the Town Coordinator- Kevin Fox for the discussion of this topic at either our next scheduled meeting or a mutually agreed on time for an additional meeting."

MOTION, moved by Betsy Corner, seconded by Jonathan Lagreze: To appoint a liason to the town office for the next month until we can speak with the interested parties.

Pass: Aye: Betsy Corner, Jack Cavolick, Jonathan Lagreze, Robert Slowinski, Loren Feinstein. Not Present: Sara Wik.

Jack will take the liason position.

MOTION, moved by Jack Cavolick, seconded by Betsy Corner: To table discussion on this letter until we can schedule a meeting with the principals of this letter.

Pass: Aye: Betsy Corner, Jack Cavolick, Jonathan Lagreze, Robert Slowinski, Loren Feinstein. Not Present: Sara Wik.

Should we have a 3rd party facilitator? Megan McDonough?
Should this be set as a separate meeting from our next which is a public hearing?
5pm for meeting with principals. 6pm for public hearing. 7pm for regular meeting.

    • Notification policy

      General Discussion...
      Certified mail costs $6.74 each.

We are also able to use a $.35 postcards which the post office will sign that they received the postcards and sent them out.

MOTION, moved by Jack Cavolick, seconded by Loren Feinstein: To table the conversation until the next meeting when we have more information.
