1. New Business

   • 6:30: Discussion on Zoning Map Changes-Vote Possible

     General Discussion...
     General discussion on proposed zoning overlay and whether the Planning Board should take this into consideration. Planning board will follow up about obtaining water and wellhead protection zoning map for Colrain district from SFFD to inform our ongoing discourse.

   • 7:20: Roles and Responsibilities of the Planning Board and Its Members

     General Discussion...
     Discussed internal communications and how best to structure Planning Board communication with the Colrain town office. It was generally agreed that all communication with the town office should go through the Chairperson.
     
     A general request to keep communication about planning board business to a minimum outside of planning board meetings. In particular discussion of any topics or personal opinions should not be undertaken outside of the meetings. Only agenda additions and scheduling for the following meetings should be discussed between meetings, with occasional exceptions, like training session opportunities and such.
     
     Requested obtaining a copy of the Colrain town Master Plan for future discussion of Planning Board roles and responsibilities.
     
     Discussed nomination for Franklin County Regional Planning Board. Discussed keeping Jonathan Lagreze as our town's nominee.

     MOTION, moved by Robert Slowinski, seconded by Sara Wik: To nominate Jonathan Lagreze to be our town representative to the Franklin County Regional Planning Board.

     Pass: Aye: Betsy Corner, Sara Wik, Jonathan Lagreze, Robert Slowinski, Loren Feinstein.

   • 7:40: Letter from Colrain AgCom

     General Discussion...
     The board read aloud and discussed the letter (attached).
     
     Alice Wozniak will send an invitation to the Colrain Agricultural Commission for the public hearing on the proposed marijuana zoning bylaw, in order that we can discuss the proposed amendments together at that point.

   • 7:45: Special Town Meeting Update-Vote Possible - Bylaw Cleanup Update, Schedule Public Hearing for Rec. Marijuana

     General Discussion...
     Discussed scheduling the first public hearing for the new marijuana zoning bylaw for 6-7pm prior to the special town meeting on July 1st.
