1. Old Business

   • 6:05 PM: Next Steps for Master Plan Discussion

     General Discussion...
     Continued discussing the best practices for forming the initial Steering Committee for the Master Plan creation, including review and revision of an invitation letter drafted by David to send to key people, including members of other town boards and the town office.
     
     The steering committee is likely to be an evolving group over time, and it will likely create subcommittees as necessary.
     
     Marybeth suggested continuing pursuing FRCOG assistance and guidance, and also suggested the potential for a Planning Board and Select Board co-meeting at some point to facilitate cross-informing of the process and direction.
     
     

   • 7:15 PM: Flood Plain Bylaw Update

     General Discussion...
     The position of Flood Plain Administrator and Backup Floodplain Administrator was discussed in terms of who will fulfill those roles as required by FEMA and what those roles might entail.
     
     Marybeth suggested asking a representative of FEMA to come and speak directly to the town office members involved in the administration of this, including the Building Inspector, so that it is made clear what is expected of the town and the administrator.
     
     Bobby will attempt to setup a joint meeting with the Select Board, Building Inspector, and a FEMA representative. Perhaps at the April Planning Board meeting (Weds, Apr 5th).
