Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia
Wednesday, January 22, 5:30 pm
Griswold Memorial Library
Meg Ryan, BNS, RN, a public health nurse with the Franklin Regional Council of Governments and a community educator for the Alzheimer’s Association will speak with participants about the impact of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, how dementia affects the brain, stages of disease, how to decrease our chances of getting dementia, and current research and treatments available. We’ll also consider how to become a more inclusive community for people living with dementia and their caregivers since it will affect all of us.
