FRCOG Launches New County Vaccine Clinic Website Franklin County residents can now use the new County-managed website to make vaccination appointments, learn of new vaccine clinic locations and times, and view updates. www.FranklinCountyMAVaccine.org.
Please share the following with your residents: Today, Monday, March 8,links to upcoming clinics will be posted to the County clinic website at 3 p.m. Please emphasize to residents the need to act quickly to secure an appointment, open slots have been filling up within 15-25 minutes after posting and bots* have been taking any remaining time slots after that.
Upcoming Vaccine Clinic Dates and Times
Montague on Friday, March 12that the Franklin County Technical School, from 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
Orange on March 13 at Mahar Regional High School, from 9:00 a.m. –2:00 p.m.
- By state requirement, 75% of our allocated doses must be administered in publicly posted clinics. This means clinics will be available on the state’s vaccine finder website and on the PrepMod website.
- 25% of our dose allocation is for “private clinics” with blocks of time scheduled at each of our clinics for seniors needing additional support. LifePath and local senior centers near the clinic site will have private links and can assist area residents register.
- If you are homebound or need help scheduling an appointment, call LifePath at (413) 829-9285.
- Those able to travel are encouraged to schedule appointments at the large throughput vaccination sites at UMass Amherst and The Eastfield Mall in Springfield.
*Bots are a type of software that exists on the internet and performs repetitive tasks. In this case, that task is to register for clinics as they are posted.
