Selectboard seeks Ad-hoc Committee members/volunteers.

The FRCOG is very excited to share that we received funding to expand our pollinator habitat-planning work to include Colrain.

The FRCOG is very excited to share that they received funding to expand our pollinator habitat-planning work to include Colrain.

The next step is to convene community stakeholders for a meeting over the summer or early fall in which we identify opportunities for expanding pollinator resources and develop beneficial landscape management practices and long-term stewardship recommendations for proposed pollinator corridors. FRCOG will then continue to work with this group over email to finalize recommendations and a site-specific design.

FRCOGhas asked the Selectboard to convene an ad hoc “pollinator planning” committee composed of interested representatives from Town boards, committees, and community members to work with FRCOG on this project. Theses meeting are planned to be held over the Summer months.
