The Town of Colrain is seeking a full-time Highway Laborer/Equipment Operator I

The Town of Colrain Highway Department is seeking qualified applicants for the Full-time position of Highway Laborer/Equipment Operator I. This position is responsible for the general maintenance of Town roads and properties under the direction of the Highway Superintendent.
High School or trade school diploma or equivalency and minimum of two years experience required, or a combination of education and experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position. Must possess valid Massachusetts Class B Operator’s License (CDL) with Air Brake Certification. Must have or be able to obtain Massachusetts 2A and 4G Hoisters Licenses and OSHA 10 certification within three (3) months.
Base compensation range is $25.69-$30.55 per hour (plus overtime rates when applicable), starting pay DOQ. Job description attached.
