Update on HO Cook Forest Fire, 8/19/25

Crews are back today and working on strengthening the fire lines and extingishing the fire. Over the last two days approximately 50 personnel, from local deparments and state agancies, have been working on the fire. Please be aware that State Forest Road continues to be closed except for response trucks. Please stay away from the area as tankers will be active in the area hauling water.
Smoke may continue to effect local air quality.
